Who Built This?
I'm Collin. I run a preschool (tutelainstitute.com), I design and build houses and products (raaz.design), and I'm a husband and father of three. Life is full and responsibilities are diverse.
I needed a system to keep track of everything—meetings, projects, random ideas, follow-ups, the stuff that falls through the cracks when you're juggling multiple things at once.
The problem? Most productivity apps are either too simple (just a checklist) or way too complex (basically a database you have to build yourself). I didn't want to spend hours setting up a “system.” I wanted to open an app and get things done.
So I built what I actually needed: one page with my todos, projects, and notes. Works offline. Syncs across devices. Encrypted so nobody can read my stuff. Simple.
I've been using it to run my businesses for over a year now. It works. And I figured if it helps me, it might help you too.
What is Craft Intent?
Craft IntentThe Philosophy
I believe getting things done matters. Not just work-work, but all of it—family stuff, hobbies, creative projects, the things that make life meaningful.
The system is simple:
That's how actual work gets done. Not by AI reminders, gimmicks, or gamification. Work gets done by completing individual tasks, one by one, through focused and efficient repetition. Craft Intent just gives you a clean place to do that.
Why $4/Month?
I'm not trying to build a billion-dollar company. I'm trying to build something useful that pays for itself.
$4/month covers the servers, and lets me keep improving the app.
No investors. No growth-at-all-costs. Just a tool that works, built by someone who actually uses it every day.
For the Nerds
If you care about how it's built (I would), here's the short version:
I built this the way I'd want software built: simple, readable code that a junior developer could understand. No magic. No dependency hell. Just straightforward engineering.
